The Cuddles Childcare Group has purchased a 2079sqm development site in the heart of the new social hub of Atlantis Beach Estate in Two Rocks.
Two Rocks is an established community of 3,000 residents and this population is set to increase significantly during the coming years flowing from the development of Atlantis Beach Estate which will have 5,000 lots and 15,000 residents on completion.
Construction on the new Cuddles Childcare Centre Atlantis has started and is expected to be completed by the last quarter of 2018. It will present a total investment of $3 million by Cuddles Childcare in this state-of-the-art childcare centre.
The development site is located at corner of Mayflower Parade and Breakwater Drive and has street frontage to the major traffic route between Two Rocks and Wanneroo Road.
Cuddles Childcare Group is a medium sized family owned business that is already operating four child care centres in Perth. It caters to children aged 0-12 years, offering half and long day care, casual care, before and after school care, as well as vacation care.
It was established by Gerard Carver 23 years ago, and is currently managed by his son, Cliff Carver.
Cliff Carver said the company took a very focused and conservative approach to developing its child care business.
“The childcare sector is very challenging and competitive and we carefully select the locations of our childcare centres based on demographics as well as their precise location.
“After significant due diligence, we decided to purchase this development site at Atlantis Beach because of its prime high visible location in the heart of the social hub for the community and the fact that the area is primed for major population growth over the coming years, mainly driven by young families who will require a service such as ours.
“We engaged the expertise of Macri Architects to design our new childcare centre which will set new standards in Western Australia for its environmentally friendly features such as using specially planted mature trees for canopy cover,” he said.
